day 279: one story of a memory you have.
Well today I decided to finish off my Harry Potter robes. It took me 12 hours today + 4hrs from the other day.
After 5 broken machine needles, 1 1/2 spools of black thread (in my defense, they were small ones...), an extra trip to the fabric shop because I realised I didn't have enough lining fabric, unstitching about a metre's worth because I had sewn it the wrong way, and realising that I needed 2 more pieces for my hood, it finally came together.
16hrs++ !!! X.X

Yay for paper prototypes too!
I just need to order my tie online, find some sweater, black skirt/pants and get my patch to make it official. :L
Oh and sew the button/fastener on when I can remember where I dumped it...
It took me a while to do do the last couple of bits, because HALF BLOOD PRINCE WAS ON CHANNEL 9!! (Right? I think>?)XD
SO YEAH.

And I've finally realised why no one really likes Harry. The chosen one. Pft, yeah. Draco is the chosen one too then. LOL.
I didn't do anything else today. :|
So basically, I've finished (nearly) everything un-school related in my holidays to date. And I'm going to Canberra for the weekend, so I won't be able to do anything then. ...
