dear reader;
today i had my first excursion of the year~ and it was for digital media :)
we were told to take photos to document our day...
so:
we got our timetable for the day ~
and then we took random photos.... around darling harbour/ the rocks/ circular quay. i'm not sure where we were actually :S
at approx. 9:30-ish, we went to the museum of contemporary art .
where we had a guided tour of the annie leibovitz exhibition.
which lasted for an hour or so.
personally, i hate going on guided tours in galleries/museums, because the guide always moves around too fast >_>
and go into too much detail, so that if you miss what they're saying for a minute, you're completely lost.
just like in philosophy .__. <0 if you miss what someone says, you're completely lost. T_T
but anywho- after the guided tour, we were able to wonder aroudn the gallery to take notes on the photos.
annie leibovitz's photos are very..... symbolic. like, there's meaning behind them, and not like the one's that i take :P
yehhh.... dodgy drawings + messy writing = my note taking :P
after our visit to the museum of contemporary art, we walked to the food court place ...close to the museum....
the food court near the macdonalds...if that helps ? o.o
so yes. we had lunch.
where most of us went to mcdonalds for the sake of going to mcdonalds.
....i think everyone had a soft serve ? :P
yay for jackie appearing ;)
after lunch we walked.
...and walked
and walked some more :..........
and we saw the department of education building o.o
and finally arrived at the state library
:)
and we saw the ummm.... exhibition for Jeff Carter. the exhibition was called "Beach, Bush + Battlers"
jeff was an Australian photographer who died...last year. . .:S
his works focus mainly on like the australian outback and family life and drovers....and stuff ....i was too tired to do much :L
and then we walked from the state library to where the buses were...
and played truth or dare on the way back >_>
seriously, joanna people need to make better dares and truths >_>
so yes. that was my awesome day.
but nothing really happened. because i was at a museum. and a library XP
day 47: is the truth always good to hear, why or why not
the truth is always good to hear.
because nothing's worse than a lie.
