dear reader;
yes. today
like the whole grade og north sydngye girls (maybe all of nsw? :\)
received the much anticipated.... government laptops.
they're actually quite cool.- aesthetically i suppsoe :P
..err yeah
they're sorta like the one above, just.... brighter i guess :P
the colour is actually quite pretty :)
....better than daintree green i suppose o.o
they're light....-er than the ones that we have now///......
but you can\t....do anything on them -_-
like the hard drive is only 2 GB >_> <- like seriously, my year's work is twice that size! T_T
and you can only access school sites/networks. .... so its basically a school computer...in laptop form >_>
and apparantly we can't just leave them at school :\
because then we would need to charge them.....and if 30 people in the class did that...then it would be a disaster :(
apart from that, today was quite an ordinary day.
year eight's were off on some art excursion...to a pool >_>
like ummm....are they going to draw water ? O_O
so yeha. since i had 2 periods of like art-related subjects (va + dm) i had subs! :D
i had dr melville for art in period one....
did you know that he has a WIFE?! :O
who\s an art teacher?!??!? *double :O*
so yeah....we just worked on our watercolour paintings....
mine are like....so not intricate and detailed :P
after art i had maths. with dr melville >_>
i may have mentioned this before- but i hate how he writes on the board!!
it\s so messy!!!!!!!!!
but seriously, he can\t write in a straight like...
but he draws the straightest lines ever! T_T
gah whatever.
third period was digital media....with ms lee <- as the substitute. haha what's with maths teachers filling in for art teachers? :L
...yeah we were suppsoed to find three pictures that show studium and punctum......and write 100 words on each picture...
but since my roll call class (9O) had to get our laptops,, i didn't do much of it. :P
period four consisted of science and we played with play dough! :D
....
i meant constructed an atom with....limited resources... ;P
but seriously.... that play dough ....stinked.
but it was really soft and mouldable :P <-...........dodgy.
yeah so my group (wendy, laura b + i) constructed errr....CARBOn.
shall upload a picture tomorrow :L
last period was geo with henderson.
she knew that we weren't concetentrating much on the lesson (because of the new laptops), so she actually let us play with our laptops for the last 20 minutes of the lesson :D
