day 35: art.
Written at 11:38 PM on 04 February 2011

dear reader;

ah yeahh
here's the mug that i painted a couple last week at colour me mine :)
i used some'special paint' that would like...... burst. sort of.
like the paint would kinda explode when it was fired.

OMG.
THIS COULD TOTALLY BE MY DIGITAL MEDIA HW thingo.
"take a picture with a tag of 'POP'"
yeahyeah?
ok... yeah maybe not :\

and here's my micky mouse thing that i did as well ;D
it was only $5 extra with the mug :D
 yeah....
i hope i don't break it :3

OH.
1 week done! only 9 weeks to go :} (until the next long holiday :))
'
so.
today we had digital media- the first lesson with ms cheney.
she wasn't really sure what we were supposed to be doing.... and she had stuff to do with year twelves so we just had a very bludge period :)
...i decided to read to kill a mocking bird
but only managed to read like 5 pages in the whole period :L
because of 'people who were sitting next to me'
>_>

yerrr
then it was maths. and DR. melville just told us to do some reasonably basic stuff from the textbook :)
no homework! :D

then it was art.
where we worked on our sketches of 'corners of buildings"

and also started on some water-colour painting stuff
we did some trial testing stuff first on a piece of scrap:

then we started on our....actual drawing :L
yes, i do realise they're like blobs :|
it's my first time using proper Water colours, you know!
shocking, right? :L
umm the above picture's supposed to be of the nsg basketball courts...looking out to the senior lawn....

so yeah
this is what i've done so far:
everyone else's pages are so very nice and clean.......and mine's like.... grey ><

so yes. at lunch i was bothered enough to check the sport lists.
i'm doing sailing! :)
because someone filled surfing at the same time as me -.- [i think.]
sailing was my second choice.
but the sad thing is, everyone in my groups going it (surfing) :(
...at least i have suellen to keep my company :]

after lunch we had science with ms foley.
we just watched a video..........on elements.
it was pretty boring.
all i remember was that the narrator dude would do different voices for each of the elements, except since we played it on windows media player, the sound screwed up, so the background music was wayyyy louder than the main audio -.-

last period was pd with ms macdonald...in dt4 :)
aircon ♥
and we did a poster htingo.
except we (prish + i) decided to do a draft first, then make it prettier.
except we ran out of time for the prettier version >_<
for the last 15 minutes or so, we played a really gay game :P
i shall explain : :D
2 teams stand in parallel lines facing each other.
everyone has their eyes closed, except the first person in each team.
the first person in each team must squeeze the person next to them's hands if the coin that is flippe lands on a tails. if heads landed, and the person squeezed their hand, the other team gained a point.
the first team to grab the pink paper on the chair (ie the last person in the line) wins.
...
ok maybe that didn't make much sense...
the score was around 5-2 (to the other team) when the bell rang.
then we realised that there were only 13 people on the other team as opposed to our 15 people ==''
BLERGH.

day 35: words you live by, why do you like them
"let go of what is gone, and hold onto what you have."
i lke them because it's true. because i always need to let go and hold on :\

until next time;
