day 16: someone you trust

because only this person knows the true meaning of the world ~
hmm so since i wasnt bothered with half of what happened yesterday; i shall blog about my asian dinner >_> at the ashfield RSL CLUB. !
yeah so my mum (being asian and shiz) saw an ad in the chinese paper saying that the club had some VERY CHEAP PEKING DUCK._.
but it tasted like crap.
no match against the peking duck from chatswood BBQ kitchen :L
so the ad from the paper said it was a '2 course'- usually implying a duck wrap for the first course , then like duck + other stuff in a lettuce leaf for the second. the club, however, gave us
..........................DUCK
just plain old duck. >_>
that just didn't look that appetizing >_>
my sister seemed to like it though........
anyway~
the ad also said that there's a "nice view of harbour bridge"
errrrr yeah nice....
its the thing inbetween the yellow hose and the bush/tree next to it. you can't relaly see it ....
but everything was goooood.
because the asiancup was on 8D
and it was AUSTRALIA vs KOREA! :D:D:D
they tied 1-1 :)
haha i love it when they play sport in slow-mo/ take pictures randomly

after dinner, i went to art.
where i finished painting my stem.
and started on the water.

my teacher was trying to make conversation by talking about the tennis.
except since i have a dodgy tv signal, i can't get channel 7. so i had no idea what he was talking about. and i'm not really that into tennis ...... so even google couldn't help.
ahh today i went to chatswood and bought sewing machine needles :)
and i managed to finish the cover that i started yesterday...
except it's a bit dodgy since i didn't measure everything out properly ><
......yeah
anyway after i bought needles, i went to kmart. .....
and since everything is like back to school already, my mum decided to go on a binge of buying book covers and stuff..
so she bought 7 rolls ...................of contact........
3 of which were princess covered.
since its the "disney princess" faze atm for the kiddos downstairs.
can YOUUUU name all these 'princesses' in less than 5 seconds??? :L
but since there are gonna be four new boys this year (!) my mum also bought like wood-like contact. (like the contact that i used for the kitchen made in yr 7... if anyone still remembers....?)
yeah
so she bought 4 rolls of that.
and they were supposed to by $7.50!
but then they got discounted to $4.00!
except they were put in the $1.75 boxes!
and since my mum was being all asian and shiz, she was like- but there are lots of these in the $1.75 boxes!!! and went on a rant about how she wouldnt even bother coming to kmart if she knew they were $4 and blahdidahhhhh.
yeah so the store manager dude just gave them to us at the $1.75/roll price! :D yay! :L
err yeah.
