30 days done; 335 to go ^^
ohohoih. & 20 days without facebook ;)
...so i checked out scholaris...and saw my timetable.
turns out i have:
-ms cheney for both art and digital media/?!?!?!?!!! O__O
i better stay on her good side then o____o
-mr moorcroft for dt. ...there's no one else i guess...
-ms lennon for pdhpe. thank god it's not kerrigan<- she freaks me out XP
-ms vanderhout for maths o.o is that...good? OO_OO
-ms foley for science.asdkhjdlsm. and mr kulesz [for one lesson ...wtf?]

dear reader;
ah today i had my first violin lesson
for the year.
since my teacher's been overseas since like the end of december :)
i just realised that one of my pieces is only 33 bars o__o
but it's verrrrrrrry slow, so it still takes like 4minutes to play <-haha, geddit? ..
no?nvm. but it does actually take 4 mintues to play it -_-
....anyway
i gave him a cake.
one of those weird sticky cakes that asians like to eat.
as a "chinese new year" type gift
and it was a little awkward.... since i gave it to him, because i wasn't sure what it actually was. luckily there was chinese writing on it, so at least my teacher sorta knew what it was :L
ohoh i've nearly finished my lemons + leaves painting.

i didn't right about harry potter yesterday! :O
i completely forgot about it o.o
when my mum found out that we (my sister and i) were going to watch harry potter, she was like "you haven't watched it?!?" to which my sister replied "haha, no, only annie".
how sad is that?!
i watched it for the first time... on australia day. more than two months after it came out D:
omg. bathilda bagshot's scene was totally creepy DX
haha everyone looks so old now! compared to the first film :L
i reckon, the biggest difference...(as to who's aged the most) is tom felton o.o/draco malfoy

can't wait for part 2! ;D
OH. and a coupe of days ago, i watched black swan. ...............
it's just a tad bit creepy
and ..... gross
and.....not recommended for 13 yr olds >_<
but still a very good movie .... not for that scene.

A ballet dancer wins the lead in "Swan Lake" and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan - Princess Odette - but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like Odile the Black Swan, daughter of an evil magician.

dear reader;
today, i drew the chicken- elmo that exists in my house.
i even framed the picture! :L
...and it was done with the pencils that the kiddos use :D
(not sure why the colours turned out so....weird looking o.o)
and GAH.
my garage. has turned into
a nursery !
....wel sort of. if you count having three cots in a room a nursery X_X
anywho
i finished the first disk of mary stayed out all night ;L
which means i've done 8hrs of exercise in the past week or so :L..................

and today i paid for dinner ^^
with the money i earned from working for my mum :L
we had sushi + rice
from chatswood chase ><
but still! i paid for it ..........so everything's good :L
after dinner my mum went to the 24 hr medical centre...which is just across the road from chatswood chase.
it's so stupid calling it a 24hr medical centre, when it's only open for.... 12hrs? 14? not sure exactly how many; but it's definitely not 24! ...i think it used to be 24 hrs....but then they shortened it a while back....
how stupid.
err yeah
so when my mum was done with the doc, she got prescriptiong medication and shiz...
and when she went to the chemist
the dude [who was asian] asked :
"so....would you like the cheap medicine, or the more expensive one?"
to which my mum replied:
"the cheaper one" <- without a moment's hesitation >_>
how ajsdklasdha asian.

yes. i finally have my internet back ^^

so err...what did i do yesterday...
i attempted to make cake balls! :D
and since i fely bothered, i took photos, documenting how i made them:
cake
ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 Tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c butter
- 2 c sugar (!)
- 4 eggs- at room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 c milk
method:
preheat the oven to 180(degrees C) Grease + flour pan
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
add eggs, one at a time to the butter and sugar, mixing until just combined. scrape down the sides of the bowl after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
add the flour, a third at a time, alternating with the milk in two additions. add salt and baking powder to mixture as well.
spread the batter into the prepared pan. (yeah...i added blue food colouring...because normal yellow cake just looks boring XD)
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before crumbling for cake balls.

whilst the cake was in the oven, i prepared the icing~
icing
ingredients
- 3/4 c butter at room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups icing sugar
method
Cream the butter and vanilla until combined
Add the sugar to the creamed mixture in two or three batches scraping down the sides of the bowl after each addition.- (i added apprx 4TB worth of milk to the icing to make it smoother)
...and more food colouring to make it all pretty ><
mix until well combined :)
.,....
when the cake is cool.... crumble it into a large mixing bowl :D
the easiest way to do it is to just use your hands ;)
add 3/4 the icing mixture - if all of it added, the mixture will be too moist to work with.
Mix it into the crumbled cake, using the back of a spoon until thoroughly combined.
The mixture should be moist enough to roll into 1.5in balls and still hold a round shape.
After rolling the balls by hand, place them on a wax-paper covered baking sheet.
Chill in the fridge for several hours, or 15mins in the freezer. The balls should be firm, but not frozen.
.....so that was yesterday,
today i tried to coat them in white chocolate.
err....
how do you melt chocolate properly?!?!?!??!? :X
..yeah
so i didn't end up coating them....
i'm finally going to watch harry potter tonight XD

Ugh so my Internet is screwed up today...

My sis says there's Something wrong with the network of our Internet or something... Yeah solenoid that I have no idea about. So I'm typing this now on my sister's work phone- because thankfully it has internet. ... Except I'm doing this in HTML code... Cause you need the latest software or some whiz like that...
So don't blame me if there are weird auto corrections and stuff....
Man life sucks without Internet :(

dear reader;
my theory as to why korean women are so stick-skinny....is because of their method of transportation: piggyback rides.
i swear in every drama...there is a piggyback ride.
no drama is complete without one.
....to prove my point:
personal taste

playful kiss
boys over flowers
sungkyunkwan scandal
mary stayed out all night
and these are only out of some of the ones that i've watched ! :O
.... what is the symbolism behind a piggyback ...to Koreans ? o_o
i'm sure in the err....western culture; guys would just call a cab (if the girl was drunk) ...pay the fare and go on his way.?
does Korea not have any...cabs for people to go home drunk in? O.o
so girls must rely on a guys' back to go home safely? !
my conclusion: in order for the actor to be able to....piggyback the actress, the actress must be stick thin....so the scene would be cute.
and since there are alot of dramas...meaning alot of actresses..... .......
every actress / woman is...............stick thin.

haha....whilst looking for lord of the rings on my bookshelf, i stumbled across my sister's year 9 + 10 notebook :L

oh and i'm also thinking of changing one of my electives (either design + tech or digital media- not visual arts ;L) to philosophy...because -
1. ...i think 3 tech-y/practical subjects is slightly...hard and
2. apparantly it's bludge ;)
but i'm not sure which one to swap :S
digital media: stuff would be covered in art (that's why some of the yr 9 students of 2010 chose art-because it was covered)
design + technology....as my mum puts it: "is a completely pointless subject that you can just do by going to ikea"...umm..........right.

dear reader;
haha; i finally started watching GOD OF STUDY ;D
it's made me very motivated to study ;)
....and it's actually taught me stuff....sorta....
1. Never stay up before the night of a test.
2. Working on the same problem over and over again is tedious. Use various methods to solve the problem.
3. Memorize until you fall asleep. Your brain has the capability of reviewing the things you've learnt just until you fall asleep. Do your best to to memorise as much as possible, then it will be possible to get a perfect score.
haha...this drama is more helpful than some teachers *coughmrharrscough*

for breakfast i had 2 rice crackers .... because i wasn't bothered to make anything.
then i wanted to have some scrambled eggs. so i made some :L
.....
my sister then recommended that i put soya sauce in...cause the "taste is probably bland".
...so i put 1/2 tablespoon in....
and MAN IT WAS SALTY!!!!!
GAH seriously.
do true Asians like...not have any taste buds?!! o_o
because whenever i go to china/someone from china comes over....the food is always so much .....saltier X_X
any who... i had fried rice for dinner -_-
because there wasn't anything else in the fridge + i was in a rush to go to art...
and at art....i painted my...errr....water + glass vase.....it was very boring.
omg. when i came home from my art lesson today, there was a massive spider on the wall!!!! O____O
....it scurried (?) higher when my dad tried to kill it the first time.
and even higher when my dad tried to hit it with a shoe...
my dad then decided to create an ingenius invention ....by using this massive stick....which i had no idea even existed in the house....and a paint roller .... >_>
then it fell into the umbrella bin.....so my dad swashed it with it >_>
then all that was left was a big, black .........................blob.

dear reader;
today was a day about skins.
i changed my ipod skin (well actually cover) since the one that i bought off ebay ...kinda died.
i also changed my blog skin. .......and it's kinda hard to use -_-
i think i should've paid a bit more in the html innovations term with mr madgwick.... but thank god google exists ;)
......and also the skin on my sunburnt shoulder has stopped peeling! :P
errrr...
i just started downloading the first ep of GOD OF STUDY.
but the title seems pretty lame :L .......
GOD OF STUDY seems like a drama that my mum would approve of ;) ....
today i also made MANGO PANCAKES.
it took me an 80 minutes to make all the pancakes x__x
cause they were so hard to flip!
i used the same recipe as last time .
anyway
i'm thinking i should grow my hair out.....
into a bob.
no not a bowl cut like this guy's :

i'm not sure whether i should get it done before school starts or after. ... 'cause i don't know how long my hair should be before it gets chopped off :L
