heh- so basically this is my 30th post :o
BLERGH.
i haven't been able to find a good skin yet... so i'm just gonna use this weird/default one for now. ... just wait a couple of more weeks ;D

todayy-- i made a batch of brownies. using the same recipe as last time. umm yeah...
and i watched vampires suck...
let's just say it sucked.

dear reader;
look!
i've finally managed to change my skin!!
haha how fail though. i took me a lot of googling .
ahh where would everyone be without google? :L
...this skin actually looks kinda lame now that i think about it........anddd it's so hard to use!/navigate. don't you agree? :P
i'll change it when i have some more time.... i.e. weekend/holidays! only three more weeks!!!
hmm so what happened today..?
i had sport. which was pretty boring. why did i even choose basketball again. T_T i should've chosen badmington or smth. they get to go to 7-11!!!! O_O
and thennnnnnn it was food tech. where we baked our cakes 8D
yummy yummy cakes !
actually probably not that yummy, since it's just cake-mix. >__>
haha; and cause my group is totally creative, we tried to make "cookie-grass"...and it kinda failed.......let me explain.
so the basic concept of our cake was a circus tent; but because it looks kinda empty if it's just the...cake, we decided to make a base--- that would hopefully look like grass.
so we made a BIG GREEN COOKIE.
what happened?
1. it was really crumbly in the beginning. were we supposed to add milk? O_O ...because if we did...i kinda forgot to add it :L
2. ms achele [food tech teacher] decided to add milk to the dough. it wouldn't be a big problem if it had been added earlier... but now it was a MUSH. GREEN SLIMY dough...
3. ....so then we had to add more flour...
4. which made it all retardely dry again. but then i was like I CBF... so we rolled it out :L and made a few small cookies with the left over mixture.
5.... and then we put it in the oven...
6. and when we took it out.... it turned TAN BROWN-ish colour. or at least half of it did. the other half was still green. the inside was also green O_O
but kinda creepy, cause we started with a green cookie...and ended with a brown-green one. >___>
aish i cbb to continue on our cookie story/life.
let's just say its still alive. the little ones arent though :L
i gotta go study for science now!

man; i'm so sleepy nowadays. ==''
but i surprisingly haven't fallen asleep in class...yet.
i should really sleep more. :L
..i get an average of uhh 8-9hrs :LL
yeah i know that's probably more than what you sleep---but ... yeah whatever.
so today was ESSA.
man was i hungry during that test >_>
i finished with like 20 mins leftover :)
i probably failed though. fml man T_T
AND THEN It was PE.
where we played softball.
on the tennis courts.
without shinpads/ mouthguards!
..enough said.
...i got out T_T
since i hit the ball straight to SUEY...i think >_>
BUT MY TEAM STILL WON. 8D... i think.
then the rest of the day was bludge-- i had french + english. haha 2 languages :L

i didn't have to use my laptop for the whole day!!!
what a waste of space + weight + ... ...T_T!!!
OOH. and one last thing..
TO WHOEVER HAS ME.... for kris kringle..

or hair dye. i actually want to dye it. :D
maybe a better colour than just BROWN.?
like slightly more red? or blondy? :LL lol idk.
..........actually if i get a fail colour... ie that asian-orange-brown... i think i'll look like a pumpkin. O_O

dear reader;
have you ever had a relative come over from another country; a relative who constantly clings onto you/needs you to cling onto them? welcome to my life. -_-
let's go back to after my post on saturday, the day that i started blogging again, and said that i was going to bake a cake....
my dad decided that he wanted to go and see shen jia wei's (i think that's how you spell it....) exhibition.. "because its like the only chinese artist exhibition that your aunt and uncle would be interested in". and where was this? in GYMEA. It was ok i guess, but most of the works that were there were influenced by the cultural revolution ..stuff. ANDDDD the artist didn't exactly use his own ideas.
the rest of his paintings that weren't cultural-revolution /chinese themed were pretty much just adaptations/ appropriations(<- yeah, thanks ms cheney:L)- of other works. eg there was one where he copied the Michaelangelo painting...of people flying naked........yeah i cbb to look up the exact title/picture...called "The last Judgement"....
......but anyway my point being that he just added two randoms in to make it his own. <__<
not exactly my interest/relevance. T.T .... and i don't think my aunt/uncle liked it either, since all the panels/brochures etc were in english :LL .....and they tell me that my chinese is fail. >____> click here if you're interested in seeing the exhibition :L .
and THennnnnnnn after going to that exhbition, we went to like kogarah bay or smth and took photos. or at least my uncle did... and then i had a KFC twister for dinner... since we ended up just staying at the beach/bay til like 6:20...and then my parents remembered that i had art and that i had to buy dinner for me. >___>
and then on SUNDAY; i accompanied my aunt and uncle again T_T
to watson's bay.
apparently they left the house at like 8 in the morning O_O
and walked from milson's point...and across the harbour bridge...to circular quay...
and shopped around the rocks markets.
and then took a cruise O___O
all before 10:30am!
and because i was acting as a good little asian kid, i took my laptop and science worksheets with me. :LLL
..which resulted in my uncle tryi explaining everything on the worksheet in shang to me. didn't end up understanding...anything. T_T blergh.
who knew being a tourist could be so boring.
and so TODAY...i had food tech first. turns out that we're not making the cake from scratch...we're gonna use like cake-mix ... home-brand. yay. :\
but decorating should be fun ^^
but we have to wait til FRIDAY. since ESSA decided to ruin it for us. T_T
andddd we watched sydney white in english today.
oh how i love the reports-are-over-and-it's-just-chilling-time of the year :)
and helped set up the hall for ESSA. fml man... like why does science just have to ruin the reports-are-over-and-it's-just-chilling-time of the year? T___T
and how do you use a skin man??!?!?!?
i tried 5 different ones today; but they it always says like "tags are not closed properly"...or smth like that. =='' aish.
man this post was long.

DID YOU MISS ME?
haha you probably didn't miss me and my lame blog posts. :P
well, if you were wondering why i haven't been blogging/living an actual life, i've had yearlies, like everyone else... and i've changed pretty much all the html on this darn blog. :L
MR MADGWICK WOULD BE PROUD.
oh..and as i mentioned before, my aunt and uncle are over, so i've been doing stuff with them. :|
just fun stuff.
such as eating lobster with them :L

i don't even know why i chose my phone. it's so dodgy- i already had to get the screen replaced since it got some crack in May.. i think.
hm ...what else has happened. . .

apart from like a third of my class going on TOUR....to MOGO.
so out class was bludging pretty much the whole time.
...and yearlies have been going on.
argh. AT LEAST THEY'RE OVER.
ugh...except science just ruined it all.

and since its nearly the end of the term; it's also food-tech cake making time!
i think this is the recipe that we're going to use...
Raspberry Swirl Cake
Ingredients
1 cup plus 1 Tbsp butter
2 cups sugar
3 cups sifted flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1-1/3 cups milk
2 tsp vanilla
6 egg whites (3/4 cup)hopping list
1/2 cup raspberry jelly
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- To Make the Cake: In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Add vanilla.
- In small mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold by hand into the batter.
- Heat jelly until melted; cool slightly. Remove 1 cup of batter and add jelly. Mix well. Add food coloring, enough to give a desired pink color.
- Pour white batter into greased and floured 12-cup Bundt pan.
- Pour jelly batter on top. With spoon swirl raspberry mixture into cake. Bake at for 45 to 50 minutes; turn out on wire rack or serving plate to complete cooling.
- note: recipe was just copy and pasted from website. i do not own anything :L ...except for a couple of dodgy things...><
i'll make it later today, and post some pictures up tomorrow maybe... if i can find a camera ....

dear reader,
...my aunt and uncle are coming on wednesday :S
aish.
i've been studying all day -_-
i did 2past maths papers. read my notes.
+ finished french roleplay.
and because i wasnt bothered to study from like 3-5pm, i baked some brownies :))
here's the recipe i used:
- Melted butter or margarine, for greasing
- 125g butter, chopped
- 200g (1 cup, firmly packed) soft brown sugar
- 125g dark chocolate, chopped
- 3 eggs
- 50g (1/3 cup) plain flour
- 35g (1/3 cup) cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 150g (1 1/4 cup) walnuts
Method- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease an 18 x 28cm cake tin with the melted butter or margarine and line the base of the pan with non-stick baking paper.
- Place butter, brown sugar and chocolate in a large saucepan and stir over medium heat until well combined (see microwave tip).
- Remove from heat and beat in the eggs using a wooden spoon.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa and baking powder into the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined. Stir in the walnuts.
- Pour into the prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until firm and until a few crumbs cling to a skewer when it's inserted into the centre.

hmm
i had a stupid science test today... on skills/interpreting stuff
that i didn't finish >:(
...well i finished it but i would've preferred a couple of more minutes...
ohohoh. for dinner i went to chatswood chase :)
and i had hero teppanyaki 8D
it was yumm
there was a guy who did tricks with his spatula/scraper tools at the front. he did the same trick everytime though...
but it was still pretty cool 8D
haha, you know, i used to only think that those fish balls (which were only available on thursdays @the chatswood market- victoria av. place) was teppanyaki.

dear reader,
Today I started the day with symphony orchestra.
it was a strings only rehearsal.
Steve [my conductor] decided to invite some creepy old violin tutor dude to help us o_O
...he looked like an eagle.
except he had this massive bald spot.
ANYWAY... my point was that he was really creepy looking.
........except, i guess he helped us alot :L
then i had sport. we got a replacement dude, since our regular coach dude is..somewhere o_o
i think he's from new zealand. he had ...an accent.
and a very large forehead.
like.... it made up a third of his face o_O
and then i had PE.
softball.
argh. i've like forgotten how to play already! :L
and then year sevens someone sprayed a lot of deo/body spray/ whatever you want to call it in DT4.
i think i was going to suffocate x_x

today was very bludge. :D
