dear reader,
today i met up with meggie at the library, to do our post modern cartoon assignment for art.
..this is what one of the books that we used had as a cover.

we couldn't really use it, so we put it in a pile of the "dodgy" books. the cover was just too amusing to us :L.
it was...not very successful.
so basically- post modernism is:
A period of art, which began in 1985 and continues to the present day. It is characterized by pluralism, ie a multiplicity of formal art, e.g performance art, site-specific art &Video art.
Another characteristic is appropriation; where an artost uses a previous style of art and puts in a new context.

dear reader,
grah.
i had a nosebleed this morning.
NOT FUN.
because it was at like 6 in the morning. grah.
and after that i had a headache. and a runny nose. <-yeah, don't ask how i managed to get a runny nose after a nose bleed. it was kinda gross, because there was still blood in my nostril, so the snot was red/green :L sorry if you were eating/ grossed out.
...so i didn't go to school today :L
i spent my day chilling... with a couple of three year olds.
and i did my washing! yeah aren't i cool xD
ugh. there really is nothing to do at home -_- but i prefer to stay home than go to school xD
i spent most of my day on restaurant city. nah, jks i have a life.
but isn't my still-under-construction-restaurant COOL?!?!

i'll start with this thing first...

and what a mistake that was! :L even though they're annoying most some of the time, it's always for the benefit of me. so for that, i'm thankful of them... but i can't wait until i'm like 18! because i want to move out ASAP ! XP
so what happened today?
well... the bug-killing dude came at 8:30- not 9 this morning. far out man. i had to like...run out of my room and go to another one =='' how embarrassing. mainly because i still had that oh-so-famous-onion hairstyle of mine in T_T

it's kinda weird. i got up to episode 5.... :L
and then my mum was like "...you're a highschool student, where is your homework?!??!" ...so i started my science. man it's boring, i don't really get why we need to know all these weird and useless things.
so ms foley answered (a couple of days ago) with "oh...science is really useful. it's one of those subjects that you can talk to your kids about when they're in year 8, wondering why they have to learn about all of [what you're learning now]". geez. what a useful thing science is T_T
and then i went to art.
